The detailed HPF tables list each degree value for HPF rings in meters and feet. These values are calculated for the effective focal length according to the construction drawing. This value is noted as "effective xx.xx" on the ring. According to DIN (German Industrial Standard), a lens may deviate from this value in its real focal length by 1% plus/minus. These differences must be taken into account if necessary.
