"With my photographs I would like to share with you the way I feel and experience nature. Sometimes it is rough and inhospitable, but just then it is often full of beauty and unobtrusive poetry. I pay more attention to the play of shapes and textures in hidden places than to the sun's rays breaking spectacularly on snowy peaks. I always move with an alert eye, wanting to be surprised, because only in this way emotions find their way into the picture. Above all, I want your gaze to wander in my pictures, to dive into this world, at least in thought."
